I would like to setup this experiment: On a parking lot with usually no abandoned carts, some experiment insiders purposefully abandon their carts. Repeat this experiment in different countries, with differing amount of insiders. How many does it take to "convert" the lot to be messy? Will they ever? Will people actually call out the insiders? And will the lots convert back at some time?

Here's why tu quoque isn't a fallacy. Say person A shoots person B. Person B says nothing about it, goes on with their day. Time goes by, person B shoots person A and person A exclaims: "You bastard! A tad off topic but humbly request you take a look at this. Dialogue is welcome. Life is meaningless without God. In our existence, we each have experiences in our lives that though real; ultimately are only subjective and carry bias. Which means that our perception of truth in the world is skewed. God alone however, provides objective truth that doesn't change since He is infinite and eternal, having created a finite and temporal creation that will one day pass away. At which point the King of Kings will reign in a new heaven and earth. JESUS CHRIST invites you to this reality and it all starts and ends with your faith in Him. Call on the name of the Lord. I think you are spot on with your thoughts on Pantheism. Everything has consciousness but at different levels. We have two types of consciousness whilst alive and come death we gradually lose our Earthly consciousness and continue with our universal consciousness.

Your problem with the Terminator is one of assumptions. As Doc Brown says: you're not thinking fourth dimensionally. If you let go of the directionality of time and of the assumption that the future does not exist until the past and present lead into it, then all the answers are simple. Where did John's father come from before Kyle Reese came back? Why is there a "before"? In 1984, Kyle travelled back from the future. He was always there. You can plot the timeline produced by the movie on a chart (it would be better if it was a fourth dimensional plot, but I understand if you won't be able to make one), mapping out everything from the past through the 21st century, such that it's all there at once along that timeline. And then when you move your finger along the chart to 1984 and ask where Kyle came from; just look over to the 21st century and understand that that's where Kyle is up until the moment he travelled back, and that's where he came from. You say that that's fatalistic? That it cancels free will? Maybe. But that sounds more like a value system and a philosophy of life, rather than an existential requirement. Who says that there is free will? Who says that the world is not predetermined? As a philosopher, you should know better than to treat these assumptions as incontrovertible fact.

I know this question is a bit late but I have to ask. Cause the point of the steel man argument was to strengthen the opponents points so that an effective debate can occur and the opponent should be expected to do the same (please tell me if I understood this point correctly). But what happens if the person doesn't want to create an effective debate and doesn't want to search for the truth and pushes what they want instead? How do deal with a situation like that? Cause if it's a formal debate setting and the opponent does this the most obvious solution which is walking away doesn't really help. Also I personally feel that while steel manning an argument is always an ideal situation, its much harder to do and takes an open mind and a lot of understanding to do which may make you too slow to come up with an argument against their points. In contrast, some people straw man unknowingly cause it's too easy to do. what should be done in such situations?

There are MANY flaws with the free will defense. But by far the biggest is simply that Theism IMPLIES God interferes with our free will. He answers players, performs miracles, even came down from heaven and became a human. Heck, God is so "concerned" about our free will that he even creates extra wine at a party because the guests were complaining they could not get drunk enough.
